Covid-19 updates for test takers

At the British Council, the health and safety of our staff, customers and the communities in which we operate is our top priority. Thank you for working with us as we follow the advice of the health authorities and government in our response to the spread of Covid-19 in the Philippines.

Following govenrment protocols during this Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ), exams in Manila until 5 April (inclusive) and in Pampanga (4 April) are cancelled.  Affected test takers will be contacted. Further exam dates will depend on government advisory.  Please regularly check this page and our Facebook page for updates on exams resumption. 

IELTS Update:

IELTS test takers whose tests have been cancelled, re-scheduling details have been sent via e-mail. Affected test takers will be contacted by our team in order to reschedule their test free-of-charge up to six months. Please complete a test date rescheduling and refund form and email it to britishcouncil@britishcouncil.org.ph. We will send a confirmation within five working days.  Please note that refunds may take up to eight weeks to process because of office shutdown implemented by the authorities. 

We will continue to monitor developments closely and stand ready to take actions that put human health and safety at the front and foremost. The situation may place us apart for now but we remain deeply committed to our vision of a more connected world of which everyone is a part.
